Yangfan Jiang(b. 1996, Zhejiang, China) is a photographer living in London. He holds a Master in Photography from Goldsmiths, University of London. His work spans both commercial and documentary photography, with a focus on contemporary urban and fashion cultures. Jiang‘s photography has also been featured in the known photo collection "Upstream the Yellow River," which primarily depicts the cultural customs along both sides of the Yellow River in Gansu Province. One of the most pivotal moments in Yangfan's career came when he collaborated with renowned Chinese photographers Zhang Kechun and Feng Li on the "Walking Along The Yellow River" program. This project allowed Yangfan to fully explore his artistic vision and resulted in one of his photographs being included in the book, "Huiliu." Yangfan's photography is heavily influenced by the landscape and humanistic expressions of portraits. He draws inspiration from both Zhang's landscape painting-like depictions and Feng's absurd and villainous portrait photography. Through his work, Yangfan strives to capture the essence of the world around him and convey the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
